Cods mates who were p!ssed (drunk) at the time. It was written as a joke but, too many people took it seriously, like they do on here.
Thumbs down.

I love it when I see someone who is searching for the truth. God bless you, brother.
The best study Bible that I have found is this:
Life Application Bible ~ New International Version.
This Bible has commentary on each page to explain what the scriptures mean, in an easy-to-understand way.
You will never be confused again if you study this one really good.

Study the Bible and their will be no confusion. You are just not knowledgeable. Theologians do disagree on some verses but God wants us constantly seeking Him. "For the Lord gives wisdom; From His mouth comes knowledge and understanding." Proverbs 2:6 The Words of God are alive and powerful.

Sigh - God did not write the Bible - a lot of different people over many years wrote of their experience with and understanding of God. It's a narrative. Some chose to write what we would think of as factual reporting - others chose fables to illustrate the point, some went to poetry and song lyrics (the Psalms were meant to be sung, for instance.)
It's NOT a book of answers for any question, it's NOT a textbook and it is certainly not all a history of factual events, as we understand those words today.

As you know there are 4 main bible name because they are not written at the time of Jesus and it is not the original text that was taught by God to Jesus, It is text that authors had some contributions. So God Himself is obviously not confused but humanbeing could not preserve the origial message THATS WHY GOD APPOINTED ONE MORE MESSENGER AFTER JESUS TO DELIVER HIS MESSAGE AGAIN All the best :)

That's because it's a series of folktales and essays written by a variety of authors at least 300 years after the alleged events.

A number of people, mostly unknown, many of whom wrote down tales told from father to son for generations before. As to the confusion factor, see:

That book is one strange story after another. Most of the time after hearing them I think, "What did that prove? What was the moral?" Then a religious leader tells me the moral, and I wonder if they made it up, seeing as I couldn't see a shred of evidence for their idea

I think I'm going to go troll some atheism boards somewhere, just to prove I have no scientific evidence to support my beliefs.
The fact that I call my beliefs truth and yet fail to produce any scientific evidence for it, especially in catagories (such as the fossil record) that should be overflowing with evidence makes me very insecure, so I'm going to troll boards.
