It wouldn't be my favorite item anymore since a woman who is silly enough to steal something and then run away with high heels likes that very item as well.
So I wouldn't do anything.

I would throw my throwing knives at the heals of your shoes so you fall down, then I would take my item back, and call the police.
BTW I don't think you could even lift it, and if you could you couldn't run real fast, so I'de have a damn good chance at catching you.
Oh yeah, then I would steal your high heals and sell them on e-bay.

First of all, I'd be extremely angry ( and you don't want to make me angry!) I wear Mary Janes and I'd tackle you and get my possession back. Then I'd wrench your damned high heels, or trip you. Never get me angry, you'd regret it big time!
