DEFINATELY consult your vet about this...this type of thing needs professional help. You cant really do anything about it yourself. In the mean time, take a warm washcloth/towel and hold it over your dogs eye. Heat is supposed to bring the diease out of a perosn or thing. I did that with my eye once, so why shouldnt it work for a dog! good luck

The redness and seeping sound like an eye infection. You need to have her checked up by a vet so that she does not end up with damaged or lost vision.

Hope your dog feels better. Labs are wonderful dogs.

definately go to a vet immediately. She could have developed an infection by now, hence the redness. It could be a mild case of allergies or irritation of some sort. But just to be sure, visit a vet. But in the time between now and the vet you should keep your dog as much inside as possible if it happens to be a result of allergies. I hope this helps.

Seeping fluid doesn't sound good.. I would take her into the vet.. You don't want something to be going on and it could have been fixed or should have been treated early.. end up going blind because you left it..

I have a boxer that has allergies, and she has normal drainage from her eye. I'd be concerned if the drainage was green and foul smelling that could be a sign of an eye infection. There are other conditions that i would be concerned about and the website below from animal planet, site a bunch of eye emergencies u have to be concerned about.

hope your lab is well!

Yep, you should see a vet. It could be an eye infection, or a number of either eye abnormalities. Go to a vet to find out what!
