Best Hot Springs in Southern California?

Hello, I'm looking for a Hot Spring near Southern California. Here's what I'm looking for:
* Something private
* Hot, but not intolerable hot
* Water should be fairly clean (not tar)
* Away from insects

Basically somewhere I can have a fun time /w my girl.

Well! I would recommend Desert Hot Spring. Their mineral water was rank #1 in the US.

Their water is clear. You may drink directly from it.

Usually we would go on the church retreat over here during the summer. It's cheaper here now. You can be baked if you are not in the mineral water swimming pool. This is the place we would go.

The description is wrong. It has about 70 rooms. 35 of them has big bath tube with jacuzzi in there. (YES! Very private! My wife and I even had lots of :) in the pool) Last year, I saw a Korean dude try to run-down the place. I knew he would not last :)

The rate is $78 per night without Jacuzzi and $115 with it. I think you can cook stuff there as well :)
