Remember though, He is a God of grace, and grace means undeserved and unearned favor. His decisions are based on grace not on our own merit.

If we are saved by Grace, then that is enough. If you are saved by good works, then you'd better start making an effort to help yourself.

Are you talking about an Old Testament jealous and vengeful God, or a New Testament Loving God?
