What is English culture? I was born here and I'm still trying to figure it out.

Travelling abroad, stealing countries from other people, subjecting them to your will for your profit, behaving in an unsupportably "superior" way, thinking that the sun shines out your anus, dividing and ruling, duplicity and passing yourself of as the fairest most sporting cavalier thing to walk on two legs. "The sun never sets on the British Empire" - because God wouldn't trust an Englishman in the dark.
Whoops! I forgot, the Scots were into the empire up to their necks too.
Nowadays most of these activities are still carried out by the English abroad but in football shirts instead of military uniforms, with an excess of alcohol but still in the mid day sun

Perhaps I can help you out here? I am a Scot but I can answer your question.
English culture is mainly based on Morris dancing , most English fellers (and even some females now) dress in some sort of red tights which are tied at the knee with ribbons and little bells attached, they all wear straw hats on their heads and finish the dress wear by wearing a white silk shirt (very nice)!!!
They all carry long wooden sticks and tambourines they attempt to strike each other about the heads with these implements if they see another Morris dancer that may have a 'nicer' silk shirt than the one they are wearing.
It has been proved in old texts found just recently that this is what started the English off as a waring Nation they travelled the world looking for nicer red tights!
I do hope this has helped?? Maybe not?

The industrial revolution destroyed most of it but get off the motorways and look around you, it survives in the oddest of places, but don't ask me to define it. I am proud of being a Scouse eccentric. I don't even know if they actually exist

Shepherd's pie.
Aspects might be that we are more cynical of government and new technology than other countries, more secular, more dependent upon alcohol.
