MashaAllah.. I’ve been trying to convince some non-muslims that jihad doesn’t mean holy war.. Though, it seems that the influence of the media is very intense..

I strongly agree about the terrorists, becuz what they did make Muslims look like a barbarian..
becuz of minority acts, give big bad impact for the rest..!
me personally, Shalat is the best Jihad for ourself, and for wider meaning Jihad means helping another people without hoping any return..

I don't know anything about Muslim Woship and this Jihad you talk about. I hear from the media but anyone that wants to believe the one-sided media is a narrow minded person. What you are saying here in your list is true? I am curious to what they believe and if they truly believe in Jesus. I don't know because Osama made their beliefs look like it risen from hell. Osama is an "unusual" man, like Hitler. But your list of Jihad sounds like a Christian way of life. Who are we to judge if we don't know the truth of another person or group. I don't know, so I can't judge.

Don't sugar coat the word jihad. Jihad really means death. A physical death of a person brought about any sort of weapon, even a blow. Just then in a peace loving country Islamic followers try to make the word sound acceptable to the society and so that they are not seen as the aggressors.

then what they use the name for is certainly wrong. I pray more than five times a day because I know God is listening and loves to hear my prayers. I do not repeat the same prayers but talk to God as a friend. does that count.
