ok ive had tons of guys nod at me and i thoguth it meant they liked you like if they do it a certain way but my mom says it means like how u doin or sumthin but dont yall think it mean they like you?

I get that a lot. I have always assume it meant "how are you" or "good morning" or "good evening." I honestly never really thought much about it. But since you raised the question, maybe they only do this to women they are attracted to? After all, I have never seen a man nod at another man.

A nod where I come from means Hey how ya doing? Hi! Or even A thank you if you nod while driving to another driver for letting you have the right away... If it means they Like me then I should have a date for every night of the week cause i'm nodded at daily :) ... Don't over think it dear... Its just a friendly jesture...

Im no professional but your mom could be right. Nodding could mean a simple hi, wassup?, how's it going? It is a form of Acknowledgement. You know when you'd be walking in the mall with your friends and suddenly you look at a person who happened to have looked at you at the same time. The only natural thing to do is nod and look away... You'll be able to know when the guy has interest in you..he'll do more than nod at you. he'll walk up to you and say "hi".

it depends on the nod. If it's just a simple nod, it usually just says "what's up?";just a friendly gesture,like waving to someone. But if there's kind of a wink and smile or he's checking you out while he's nodding, it could mean he's interested. watch for facial expressions and body language. Sometimes, they speak louder than words.

A nod is a kind jestor, do you see these men most of the time. That were you try an breck into a discussion if your of age for dating? Once you made the conversation then you'll know more what it means & you can go back to mom and say!

I don't think it means like you, like you but more of an acknowledgement. I had guy friends do that a lot when I would see them out on the streets and stuff, that was them saying 'what's up'. Now if its a stranger its like hey baby what's up.

I take nods to mean that they are acknowledging your presence and not a sign that they like you.

OK look at it both ways i had this guy friend and when i seen him he would do that and say whats up? and then this guy i liked did it and yeah we have been going out for a year and three months today
