This sounds a bit confusing and no offence, a bit 'red neck' like. So long as you are not actually related to her by blood then i think you would be allowed; i don't see why not. Age may not be a major issue now, but it could very likley be in the future; that all depends how much you both really and truely feel about eachother. Although I think you would be far better finding someone else, the choice is both of yours to make; whatever you decide.. good luck.

You are legally allowed to marry her, but it doesn't sound like you are anywhere close to marriage. 8 years of a crush? Starting when you were 13 and she was 28? Sounds more like the type of thing for a mother substitute. If not, it doesn't sound like something that will develop into mature love. Besides, she's almost 40--is she even interested in being with someone who's almost half her age?

WHOAAAAAAAAAAA yes u can marry her legally, but really? Do u at 23 really want to get into this spider web? I wish you the best, and as a mom I would say take it slow and truly think about this decision. Sounds like a life full of DRAMA darlin

Does she know you like her and does she like you?? I think that the age difference is definitely a factor in the many reasons you shouldn't marry her....But, you are allowed to marry her all the same.

Legally, I think so, since you two are not blood related. But if you just have a "crush", and not a serious relationship, this question is probably premature... try dating first and see if she's interested in you the same way.

Legally, yes, but I SERIOUSLY advise you to reconsider pursuing this relationship. It doesn't have healthly beginnings. Try to find someone without so many family connections and issues.

There is nothing legal or biological that would prevent this. However, there likely will be some family members that may take issue with it.
