Absolutely not. Imaging shining a flash light onto your wall... Does it ever leave a burn where the light beam was? Same situation with a DLP. It is just a projector shining onto a screen.

No DLP (Digital Light Processing) uses millions of micro-mirrors that reflect light onto the projection surface and it will not burn in

no they do not. However, some people are annoyed with the "rainbow effect" from DLP tv's

However they are still trying to work out the glitches and bugs in this new technology. You are better off going with either flat panel LCD or plasma.
