i really don't know what it does support...It is a projection TV and i read the manual again and again but its not written over there...please help

This must be a model that is several years old, which would indicate the probability of it only being a SDTV (480). However, go to http://www.tacp.toshiba.com. Click on Customer Support-Contact Toshiba and you can ask your question directly to Toshiba. You'll get answer, if your model number is correct. Might take a couple of days, so be patient.

I am unable to find anything about your TV online. Check the manual and look for the specifications page. You are looking specifically for the section on resolution - vertical resolution. If you see 480 or 525 then you have and SDTV which only supports 480. If you see 720 or 768 then it supports both 480 and 720.
