If cops don't make enough then why don't they quit? There are other types of jobs that they can do.

I don't work at MC Donalds.because I don't like making $7.50 an hour.

Don't say that it's because prices have raised because alot of people have had to quit jobs before they could retire just to keep up. Why should you be different?

Also there are cops who want to protect and serve that accpet the fact they don't make much money. So don't even say that you are needed...

They are power hungry people that need to feel important. They have little man complexes and they were picked on in school. They are racist and want to hurt minorities with out getting caught.

Are these the answers you are looking for.

Are you trying to get people upset.

Where i live cops make a starting wage of more than 35k a year. That's really not a bad starting wage in any field. Some cities are even higher around me. OK I'm not a huge cop fan i believe that they us tricks to get people to give up there rights but honestly i have never heard a cop truly complain openly about their pay. Other might do it for them but for the most part they don't complain.

To each their own, right? I respect and admire the Police Officers in my town, and it isn't about the money. In fact, I do believe that they make a good living, to be quite honest. They want to protect and serve, and to keep our streets safe. I am not going on and on about this question. People do what they like to do.....and if they don't enjoy their job, then it is time to start pounding the pavement, looking for another job. I respect Police Officers, School Teachers, Nurses, anybody, in fact, that makes my children's lives better, despite their pay. I respect the McDonald's Burger Flippers for their jobs. I DON'T RESPECT people that don't work for no good reason-NUFF SAID- Have a great week-end!

Some people don't live for money.
Still, not having money makes life hard, sometimes.
I enjoy what I do for a living, but I don't make much money.
So, when I have serious dental problems (like now) and can't afford good dental care (like now), then, dammit, I'm gonna complain.
If you don't like it, wear ear plugs.
In the big picture of overall life, I'm content with what I have... but when I'm in pain, or wish I could afford a better gift, then complaints are gonna happen.
It's called life.
No need for a career change.
As a whole, I'm more motivated by helping others than I am by making millions.

i have enough money to pay my bills and just a little extra. i enjoy catching the bad guy. there is no bigger adrenaline rush then chasing after someone. there is also no better better feeling when you help save a childs life. also there is a brotherhood in law enforcement, all law enforcement officers have the same purpose. when an officer is killed, we all stop and think, that could be me. in no other profession do you have officers comin from many different parts of the country to pay respect to that fallen officer. we are all a big family. thats what keeps me here, to know that i have a family that big.

Some just love having the excitement all the time. A cousin of mine has ADHD, and he found he preferred jobs where things were always going on. My brother was the same way. He's in security at a hospital ER. He loves his job because of all the excitement.
