you may be related, but it sounds far fetched to me. I'll explain. I know a guy who is a cousin of my cousin. me and my cousin are related through my cousin's mother. well, his cousin is related through his father, so my cousin is related to both of his, but HIS cousin and I aren't related. get it?

the truth about getting married... most limitations are put on who you can't marry, and they are primarily as follows: your sibling, your parents, your parents' siblings, or your grandparents. you can marry your cousin, but you can't marry your aunt. I'll attach a law so you can see what I mean. I don't think this applies to you, from the way you described it. hope this helps.

Yes, it's legal and moral. You're not related close enough even if your uncle wasn't adopted. It has to be first cousins to be illegal and then only in some states. I was suprised at how many states it is legal in to marry your first cousin!!

If the cousin that you thought may actually create a relationship is adopted, then there is no way you are related.

You are not directly related! No blood relation!

The second cousin's cousin is most likely not related to her. Most probable it is the second cousin's mother side. No relation to her at all..

Make a family tree it is easier to see it on paper.

Nah, I think you are safe to date.
Even first cousins can legally marry, tho
not many do.
Go for it. Chances are we are all related
anyways, 6 degrees of separation you know.

You'd really better check it out, and be sure.

I've lost track of all my cousins (of course, we share common grandparents). Some live in upstate NY, some in Massachusetts, some in Illinios, some in California, some in Colorado, etc.

since his dad was adopted, there should be no problem because you are not blood related with your cousin. It is only important is there is a blood relation.
