I'd check the thermostat, water pump and the radiator, in that order. If the thermostat is stuck closed, the engine will overheat quickly. If the water pump isn't working correctly anymore, it won't move the water through the system the right way which will lead to overheating too. Finally, if both the water pump and thermostat check out, your radiator might be clogged with debris. If they all check out, it might be the fan or the fan clutch. Good luck!

Obviously something you haven't checked yet. Hoses all good? Bottom one doesn't collapse on vacuum? Coolant level okay? Water pump circulating water like it should? Vanes on the water pump not rusted out and no water moving? Radiator not plugged up? Cooling fans working as they should?

Maybe it's time to take it to the mechanic?

Did you check the clutch fan??? If the fan is not spinning at the correct speed you will overheat.
I know others will tell you that if the clutch fan goes it will spin full speed all of the time, but I have seen a clutch fan go bad that did not fail in the usuall way.

Make sure that the radiator hose has a spring in it - all fords have them and it keeps the hoses from collapsing.

Aside from that take out the thermostat and make sure the antifreeze is flowing freely then replace it - make sure it is in right
