Not certain what you mean but to get to Disk Cleanup go to Start, All Programs, Accessories, System Tools and Disk Cleanup should be listed.
You can manually clean up temp files by going to your C drive, Document and Settings / Your Name / Local Settings / Temp. Do not delete the folder itself, go into it and delete whichever items you want. Some may not be able to be deleted if they are in use.
Personally I use a little program call ATF Cleaner to clear all cached items.
ATF Cleaner (An easy program to use to clear all old history, cookies, Java cache, etc.)

Don't waste your time with any crappy Windows routine to clean up your disk. It's a total waste of time. Download CCleaner at http://www.ccleaner.com and run the Cleaner first, then Issues. make sure you back up the registry. You'll be asked if you want to do this when you run issues. Cleaner will clean out almost everything including all the temp folders. Just make sure you haven't created a folder called temp and put vital stuff in it. Otherwise that will go too. You may like to untick Cookies because these contain information about sites you visit including remembered passwords.

Don't use disk cleanup for manual delete.
Since you don't say what browser you are using that created temp files, all I can tell you is do a search for "Temp" folder (there will be a few), locate the one you want and delete right from the folder. If you do this often, you may want to right clk the temp folder and create a shortcut to it.

sure you are able to properly delete them in Windowstemp and the many times hidden interior reach settings one To get right of entry to that one quicker merely style %temp% interior the Run container and a window ought to open with each and every of the hidden by default consumer temp records - delete the lot you will in all threat get a 'document in use' errors from some, which will in many cases be daily temp records from various of of your risk-free practices courses. bypass away those and delete something. you additionally could have hassle in looking which document is in use, using fact it merely names the document, no longer the folder it would desire to be in. Having carried out all that, I doubt if that's going to advance something nevertheless, till you have been very close to to working out of annoying stress area. the issue lies someplace else IMO - too many courses working at startup, an infection that has by no capacity been mounted, or a mixture of the two seems the likely reason(s)

If you are trying to hide where you have been on the web, cleaning temp files will not do the job.
There are history files, cookie files, and other things that leave a footprint in your machine.
IF this is your goal, purchase one of many rather inexpensive programs that are made to do this, or you will surely miss something.

Your question is not clear to me.please add details to your question.
By manually cleaning up your Temp files, I can think of only one thing.........
Go to Drice name:\Documents and Settings\Account name\Local Settings\Temp folder.
there delete all the files.........ur job is done partially
Go to Drice name:\Documents and Settings\Account name\Local Settings\Temp Internet Files folder.
Delete all the files except the file named index.dat
I think this will do ur job....

Something to consider is a Widows "clean up" program such as Webroot Window Washer.
I use it and my computer runs as good as the first day I got it.
My friend forgets to use her's and after a few weeks it takes awhile to clean everything, so it's good to run at least once a week.
