but i am also sponsored by nike so i go to lots of basket ball games and girls give me their numbers and do weird things and when i go out with them i spend A LOT cuz i am nice like that. Then i have a feeling that they just want my money. how can i tell?

They obviously know that you must have some $$ or else they wouldnt bother talking to you sorry to say it that way. Sometimes buying girls stuff is nice but if they are taking it too far I just dont understand y u r still doing it (buying stuff) If a girl really likes you for being you not for the money she may not want you to waste a lot of money on them :)

Go for the girls that don't seem into you. Well at least don't throw themselves at you. So when they start to like you, you know they like you for your personality. And by the way, you don't have to spend a lot of money on them. If they get mad about that they are jerks. If you want to give them something draw them a picture or something, because honestly its cute and you don't spend your money.

They may give you their number or throw themselves at you, however you have the choice to reject them.
lf someone only wants to date you for reasons other than wanting to genuinely get to know you, you WILL know!
lf a girl is genuine there'd be no need to question her intentions.

l've seen many a times a decent guy (which are rare!) toyed around with by gold diggers (mind you, please don't allow these scum to taint your view on the rest of the female species!)

dont spend alot...just take them somewhere romantic but dont spend alot... if they dont like you for who you are then there is no point going out with them. right?
