A representative of a Korean company went to the US for a recruitment purposes, they will hire retired pilot obviously to fly a plane. Negotiation push through, everything is just fine, they proceed to South Korea for a few briefing then smuggled inside the North Korea. Once they were inside the communist fortress the two pilot got the impression they were hired for a different purpose, unless they comply they will be killed.
One night a plane similar to B-52 taxi out of the runway, pilotedby the two Americans together with their North Korean escort, they will proceed to Washington carrying a cargo of bomb(nuke)obviously. The plane has the ensignia of the US Airforce in the body of the plane together with the US uniform.
Now,the question -can this be detectable in entering the US air space? Can they fool the US military on this?

Any plane will be picked up that close to the Pentagon or White House . Anything that seems to be in the immediate vicinity of harming the pres. will be viewed as a threat. In this day and age you can bet that at least 2 fighter jets will be scrambled to assess the threat. If they determine that it is even a remote possibility that they are seeking to do this they will be shot down or talked down. Regardless of public opinion the president, like him or not, is the most valuable man in our country. And he will be protected at all cost. BTW, 2 American pilots vs. 1 Korean escort= 1 dead Korean in almost anyone book. I doubt very seriously there are 2 pilots that would go down without a fight. You might get under the radar at sea but a plane the size of a C-130 would be spotted immediately by current and former servicemembers and there would be an alert put in place. Trust me most former servicemembers can recognize the aircraft by name, sound, size and even by country of origin. Just because people think Uncle Sam has a bunch of brainwashed kids doesn't mean they weren't taught to recognize a threat. I'm also sure that between the US Navy & the US Coast Guard that one or both would pick them up. They do have ways of catching drug smugglers that are using similar tactics.

Absolutely this would be a terrorist threat.
Absolutely they would be detected entering US airspace.
Absolutely they would be shot down if they did not comply with USAF instructions to land, probably at a location FAR from the US mainland.
Absolutely NOT would this be successful in actually bombing the US.
There are thousands of radar and air-traffic control stations along the West Coast alone, and plenty more in Alaska, the Aleutians, and along the Pacific Rim (Japan, South Korea, etc.), and ALL of them would be tracking the plane as soon as it took off. No one would be fooled.
And as crazy as Kim Jong Il is, there's no way he would try anything as long as a strong Republican was president; we would bomb him back to the Neolithic Era (Stone Age).

Why arent gangs considered terrorists in the USA? Domestic terrorist is certainly what they are. There are over 20,000 different street gangs in the U.S with about 1 million "armed" members who belong to them who are involved in every type of crime you can think of. Something needs to be done with these gangs since law enforcement can no longer deal with all of them in protecting society. MS13 publicly declared that it targets the Minutemen, a anti-illegal immigration group. Any group who is allowed to threaten and murder Americans, whether you politically agree with them or not is a threat to us all in what this nation stands for.

Yes it would be identified early as a terrorist threat, and as for entering US air space, not a chance. The insignia would not fool anyone. The plane will be indentified electronically as a foe. It would be blown out of the sky before it reached the US.

I doubt it and I would hope the Americans flying the plane would think of the many rather then themselves and ground the plane as the folks did on 9/11 in PA. They would likely be killed later anyway.

Why are you involved? Either give up coffee or just stay locked in your room as you seem a menace to society with questions like that.

Never heard of an "IFF signature"? They've been in use forever and does not matter "what" insignia is painted on the plane.

I have no doubt that NORAD would ID the plane as unfriendly and intercept it in short order.

Are you writing a novel? You should probably consult more expert sources in that case.
