I probably wouldn't have 'followed' him, as is the generally accepted meaning. But I certainly would have befriended him.

I guess we would probably have a lot in common, although I can't be sure. Who knows, we would probably be arch-nemeses before too long.

Most definitely, thanks to accurate knowledge of the Bible I can discern the truth. Many 1st century Christians could see the truth then and followed Jesus, I would have followed him then and will follow him now.
