My 2.5 year old son didn't get his first tooth until 13 months. Just about 1 month ago his last front tooth came in (he's got all the rest of them). I just felt the back of his mouth b/c he's been so stink'n crabby lately and ANOTHER molar has popped through on the right side and the one on the left is almost there too. I thought they only got one set of molars around this age and then got another set around age 7 or something? How many more should I expect?

Do people not know what molars are? Your child will have four bottom molars and four top molars. My 22 month old is cutting the second set now but my kids get their teeth early.

You only get two sets in your lifetime: the first (baby) set of molars, then the 2nd (adult) set at around age 7.

my son had all of his teeth before his third birthday, im not sure about when its supposed to happen im just assuming that all kids are different and maybe mine developed alittle bit fast but hes just fine and as far as the pain factor goes, he rarely showed any signs of being in extreme pain. Hope i helped.
