lol... say that to a predatory man in his 30s who has a "thang" for 13 year old "women" like yourself. I guess you two would have the same maturity level, though. Seriously, respect your parents and don't have a little attitude with them. I hope they really put you in your place because for a 13 y/o you sure think you know everything.

13 is not grown dear; try 18 and we can talk. This is just the beginning of your life as a teenager really. If you live in your own house, pay your own bills, and have a steady income coming in, than I will consider you to be an adult or grown.

Honey,I agree with all the answers the give to you.
13 is not a grown up yet.
When I was in your age also thought I know everything, now dat Im 'old' that I realise I was silly
Believe me, if you think about it again in years to go, u will undergo the same thing.
Try being in our age, n you'll regret n hope that u could go in times where you no things to worry about and less responsiblities, parents do most of the things for you

Honey, when i was thirteen i thought i knew it all. You don't understand how much truth parents actually speak. They care about you very much and don't want you to get hurt or anything bad to happen. You should listen to them. You can comrimise by showing them that you are mature by doing things for them and behaving. If you obey them, they will see you as an adult in their own way. Enjoy being young. Im 19 in 2 weeks and i have so many worries. I wish i had my parents to take care of everything again. The time will fly darling x

ummm your own thang?

okkkkk....

start buying your own crap and taking responsibility

but then again you'll be 13 and if you start doing your own "thang" now you turn into what other people call hohos

no seriously i had friends who's parents let them do whatever they wanted when they were your age.

let's just say they're not exactly respectable

First, you make sure you can read and write properly. Then, you do what the second answerer told you. You must work and pay your own bill. Aside from that, you need to be responsible and mature. This means that you will not directly confront your parents, but to persuade them. By being mature and responsible, you will make them look bad by being too strict.
