Most of our lives are lived with realities as we perceive them.In this universe there are no absolute truths but only relative truths, which are also bound to change with time, place and social percepts prevalent at that point of time coupled with other factors. There fore, all those who want to find the truth have to decide at their own as to how to go about it and up to what extent they should.I think for a normal average person a routine logic provides adequate answers or conclusions which are quite nearer to the truths and sufficiently adquate.

Saying read the bible is a very simple answer and many have read it and not found what they are looking for.
What you need to do if you really want to know is pray and ask for gods guidance he will find you.
Remember 2 Corinthians 4:4 but with gods help your eyes can be opened.
Jesus said by their fruits you will know them so look hard at your religion and make sure they conform with the bibles teachings.
If you really want it you will find the truth

There is no truth on earth. AS Popper says, for instance, science is a graveyard of ideas.
Most of all there is no a unique truth, there are several DIFFERENT truths, all equaly valid (here I cite someone but i forgot his name, a philosofy). The only truth is God.

The truth is inside you and all around you. Most people are asleep, and only some are awake and walk in amazement with the beauty of truth shining through every particle of sunshine, every dream, every thought.

Did you look under the couch cushions? Or you could try saying "St. Anthony, St. Anthony quick come around. Truth is lost and can't be found." St. Anthony is the patron saint of lost objects, but I really don't know if this would work for truth or not, but you could try it.

I heard the truth once uttered by a karate master visiting from Japan. He explained to a student, "you no block; get hit in face". That really sums it up. If you stood close enough you could even hear the sound of one hand clapping..... against the students head when he didn't block.

Observe nature. Learn all you can. Oh, and read the Bible...you might find that the Dominionist Christians aren't telling the truth.

forget your preconceptions. Buy a Bible. preferably a old King James, as it is written on a 5Th grade level and simplest yet most precise wording. Get one with no commentaries or study guides or notes. Start with a blank slate, and read John and Romans.

Truth--your truth--is what you believe it to be. And no one will convince you otherwise.
