My kid was using them to cover a cut and the colour rubs of. I wonder if they use lead paint to colour them? These bandages are made in China? I threw them out as a precaution.

These bandages are made in China and noting the recent recall of toys and foods from China and the use of lead paints am I over reacting.

With lead paint, it would have been worse.... plus, I don't think lead paint has been made in over 30 years.

That being said, most of the cheap things that you may find in a dollar store are often cheaply made, and cheap plastic flakes off very easily (usually a thin layer of coloring).
