can allergies cause hair-loss?

good answers. i moved out of an apartment at the start of the year because mold was growing in it - which made my hair begin to shed - alot! i also have pcos which is basically a disorder problem of the hormones, as well as an allergy to dust.

If you are taking meds. for allergies check the side effects to be sure that it is not a possible side effect. Allergies come out differently in everyone talk to your doctor before ruling it out as a cause for the hair loss.General disorders can play a role on every body part ,from your skin to your digestive system.
