My sweet charlotte if you want confirmation that Australia is the best place in the world to live. Move to Australia and then take a holiday back to england in the winter time. I am pretty sure you will agree that Australia is the best place in the world after going back to the grey skies and depressing weather!

Australia is an amazing place to live as long as you don't mind its rich wildlife .i.e snakes, spiders, cockroaches.
Lived in Sydney for a while and pretty much like London but warmer and life seems a lot more relaxed and enjoyable.
Loads of beaches, restaurants and bars and ozzies love there sports.
Leaving family behind was difficult dealing with especially around Xmas but you could always go back for that.
I have lived in Australia for 9 years now and am moving back to the UK. Not sure if it will be for good though. I am giving it another go but I sure will miss the ozzie lifestyle.

Yes ---Australia a good place to live due to the fact the population is still small compared to the rest of the world. We have a peaceful live style ,but things are changing slowly and not for the better. We need more people to inter grate and try to live as the Australian style dictates
The weather is great and there is plenty to see and do England is still in the dark ages compared to Australia

Nah not really. I left australia for new zealand and it is much better here.

Australians have this social complexity that you don't counter anywere else on earth. They seem to think that they are gods gift to the earth. "We are better than everyone else because we live in australia".

Although the weather is great, all the sun must be blinding them from the fact that the country is going rapidly down hill. Australia will run out of water eventually. There are many deadly creatures in australia.

As for safety, well having grown up in Blacktown, Sydney I would say it is not. Sone awful things happend when I lived in sydney. Sydney is not a good place to live at all. There is nothing but crime, grot, gangs and graffiti.

Another thing about australians is that they can't handle other people's opions. They are too caught up in their own heads to think about the fact that there may be other good countries other than australia.

The other week i went back to sydney for a holiday and some of my old friends asked me "why do you live in new zealand, what an awful place" And then I asked have you been there and they said no

Australia is a nice place but maybe you should consider living some were else before falling under the aussie" we are the best" attidude.

Cheers

Its a personal preference. Some people come here from UK and love it, some just hate it and want to go back home.
There is an online forum which discusses this very topic, and sadly, I seem to be the only aussie who actually likes australia. Take a look at some of the comments posted by others from UK and Europe about what they think of Australia......

Australia is a great place to live. I migrated here many years ago and on the occasions I have returned to England, I couldn't wait to get back home to Australia. It is a safe, friendly country.

i'm Canadian and have been to all the places suggested. I enjoyed Australia and enjoyed NZ. some good factors have been made right here. till you're a man or woman with notably valued skills stepping into Canada will take time. the climate in Canada isn't as terrible as MGM makes out in case you progression to southern Ontario (that's south of many American states) or the west coast. in case you progression to the west coast you have the issue returned of vacationing kin. sure there are bugs in Canada that chew. no longer a lot interior the way of tornadoes, hurricanes, earthquakes or volcanoes, yet we do have mosquitoes. So shall we communicate long term. regrettably i'm a great believer in worldwide warming. If issues get worst (and there is not any reason to think of they gained't) Australia will go through extra beneficial than it does already. oz..and NZ are places human beings think of of going to to flee the international's issues. i do no longer think of which will paintings whilst it includes worldwide warming. analyze instruct that Canada is rather located to experience out a international climate disaster. maximum analyze instruct a very good destiny for Canada. Being on suitable of a disparate quantity of the worlds materials, alongside with water, facilitates with that. good success.

I Dont Really Like Austrailia Due To All The Wild Creatures Out There. If You Want To Move To Have A Great Time And Live In The Sun, I Would Move To One Of The Canary Islands, Most Preferabley Tenerife. Im Guessing You Are In A Tight Spot, Leaving Your Friends And Family. Thats A Tough Choice. Why Dont You Live In A Place You Want To Go For 6 Months And Live In England 6 Months.
Hope My Advice Helps =]

I left England in 1997 and never looked back. The opportunities here are vast compared to the depressing, damp grey shoebox known as England. The hardest thing for me to leave was my family, though after a few visits, my parents also decided to move here and are now happily settled in Perth in our fantastic weather.
As with any country, there are bad and good spots, but in my experience the good in Oz far outweighs the bad (unlike UK with its ever growing immigration and security problems, poor weather etc).
Plus there are awesome holiday locations right on your doorstep. You will no longer have to go to Majorca or the Canary Islands, and sit on the beach next to hoardes of white poms whining about the weather or stomach upsets.
Give it a go - you will love it. Best places to go to live, if you like relaxed lifestyle and awesome weather (in my opinion), Perth or Brisbane. If you like it busy and trendy, then Sydney or Melbourne are the go.

Only you will be able to decide if it's worth it. It's going to be tough getting settled in a new country, away from everyone you know, but we are a friendly bunch :-)

And the weather's better LOL
