why do so many get defensive towards christians who say that God will punish those who not worship God correctly? who ever wrote in the bible that God is a push over or softie? He does love all, but that love is conditional.what is unconditional is that He loves all,no matter the age,sex,race,etc. but He will punish all who defy,deny, and make light of him.

Because alot of people don't belive in god in that sence. And even if they do they don't belive he'd ever be that cruel, as long as your a good perosn
I don't belive in hell, I belive people get second chances as many times as they need, but stuff we did wrong in this life we get punished for in our next life
I also belive god is more of an energy then a concious being, an energy that is part of all of us and that we're all part of god. And that we control what happens to us ulitmetly. But like the energy or the aura of the things that we do good or wrong also stick with us throughout however many tries it takes for us to get life right

Christian god is just your version of god you've been taught by sheer chance that you were born where you were to the parents that had you.
Civilizations have created many gods, its a part of human desire for life. The desire to live forever is strong. So if god exists, we don't know who or what it is. Religion is a long game of telephone of unproven magical claims from an era of barbaric practices.
But if an omniscient god does exist, he created everything and therefore everything is apart of his plan so don't worry.

If you were a parent would you allow your kids to disrespect you in any way they liked?
Would you allow them to break all your "house rules" and get away with it?
Does correcting and punishing them mean you are cruel and heartless and don't love them?
