If search engines like yahoo would have a backbone and quit being so affraid of stupid discrimination of free speech, others would follow suit. Christian sites monitor and regulate, why not yahoo? affraid they would lose money? we all need to quit waiving our moral responsibilities to God, yes God!

I thought that at first also, but then I remembered, "I came not into the world to call the saved, but the sinner." They don't always have good manners and are sometimes depressed and surly. They're been kicked around enough by the world and don't need more censure, but corny as it may sound they need love, understanding and healing. A hospital doesn't have a language requirement, but then they're not 'Christian.' Yahoo is trying to handle the whole world and is doing quite well considering the shape the world is in. The freedom of speech on the Internet is a curse and a blessing, what can I say. In the marketplace of ideas may the truth win out. The founding fathers staked everything on it.

You'd make an excellent poster boy for the promotion of the separation of Church and State.

You answered your own question. This is a site that allows all religions so they cannot discriminate and christian sites would not allow such an open forum like this. From what I can see your the one pushing God not everyone on this site does so.

We all have choices in this world, so switch your computer off if you do not like YA.

No one is forcing you to be here.

My guess is that Yahoo endorses and implements in its own way the Bill of Rights of the US Constitution, which says the following:

"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press..."

Because in this country (USA) peope have fought and died for the right to freely express themselves in thought and word and actions. Hence the expression "It's a free country" if you don't like what you read here then don't visit. You know the types of things you'll find here. Also, God gives us freewill and that's the ability to do as we choose and if I choose to come onto YA and answer questions about my faith/religion/beliefs then I have the right to do just that. Is it better or worse to ignore a person who pokes fun at you/your religion or to meet that person head on with your convictions of your beliefs???? Which do you think God prefers - to stand strong in His name or to run away (after you've judged all the other people here)????

If you like you can send me all your question first so I can decide if they are fit. I will be the sole judge and jury. Would you like that ? who is to say what is right and what is not. I might not agree with everything I've seen on this site but I'll be damned if I would be regulated in that way.
If you find something that is down right abusive ignore the person, It'll piss them off more than anything.

Yahoo doesn't care, doesn't need to care, more than just giving it a lick and a promise. Salaries for people to monitor what happens here wouldn't bring in a dime, and they're a commercial organization.

It isn't as though actual blood gets spilled on YQA. Just the occasional ruffled feathers.

I also believe in freedom of speech, especially on a site as broad as this. Grow a skin with a level of thickness, mate.

If you feel your country needs to return to good old Victorian values and hypocricy, then write to your representative and see if the government can do a deal with Yahoo! to only carry decent, wholesome content!

LOL!

if you only want christian content, then stick to christian only things!!!!!

the world does NOT revolve around christianity. many religions have a book that says it's the only true religion, so how can you think yours is any more valid than some else's? oh wait, because god said so? well their god says so too!
