im going out with this one guy (kinda). we've talked on the phone quite a few times, sometimes hours at a time.. but hardly any of those "meaningful" deep conversations... we met about a month ago and we're still trying to get to know each other.
and when we're together in person i always feel a friendly vibe. i'm not sure how to get closer to him. i don't want to be just friends. we've gone out 3 times and he's a sweet guy but i think he's scared to make the first move. we both like each other, but we've never held hands, kissed, or anything physical. and i dont know how or when to make the first move, but i dont want to wait for him to! lol. and i can't really tell him how i feel just yet because i'm waiting it out, i think this could turn into a bf/gf relationship but it's too early to say how i feel just yet...
what should i do?

ok obviously you both like each other.so when your on the phone talking, talk about your day and ease into meaningfull a conversation.He is scarred that if he makes the first move he might be moving too fast since,your not showing any signs that your intrested.so it's time for you to hug him.like a friendly hug.slowly he'll start trying to hold your hands.after that you good to go! goodluck

Honey, I don't think he be diggin' you. Most guys who like you and want a bf/gf relationship will hold your hand, kiss you, etc. by at least the first week or mid-second week.
Just ask him straight up: "Hey, where we going with this because you're kind of wasting my time here with your lack of physicalness?"

I think that its nice that he respects you in a way that wants to get to know you rather than hinting for 'it' straight away. that doesnt mean that he doesnt want to!. I would suss out what you are after. I would suck if he isnt looking for a gf if you know what i mean. If you want to, why not make the first move. dont rush into it, the beginning moments are the most cherishable! all the power to you girl! i wish you well.

play some sort of contact sport with him,
tackle frizzbe, touch football, blah blah blah
and then take him to the ground, gentlely
he'll appreciate the fact that you made the first move
if you find you no longer like him you may allways dump him
