Contact the Police Dog Center Holland, Vleutstraat 18, 5298 NE Liempde, Holland Phone is 31-411632627 Ask them about trainers for the public. You need to be aware, that you will be doing nothing but obedience until your girl is around 18 months of age.

If you ask this kind of question, YOU should NOT get the dog. You aren't a qualified trainer. The ONLY dogs that should be TAUGHT to ATTACK are police dogs and you obviously are not a policeman.

If you train your dog to attack, you are probably someone who wants to have his dog be a fighting dog and this is illegal, and I won't help you learn how to do that.

If you train your dog to attack, you become legally and financially responsible for all damages and injuries the dog causes. People who don't truly need a trained attack dog train it wrong and the dogs become dangerous to the owner and all the neighbors. If you train the dog to attack, you will use the dog wrong and you will cause harm to people. You aren't a professional. You aren't a policeman. You don't NEED to have a trained attack dog.

Why would you really want your dog to attack, these instincts come naturally to animals. If you are really looking for a full proof protection system, why not get yourself an alarm system?

German Shepards are naturally guard dogs, and if your dog is well loved and respected, he will without a doubt protect you in your time of need. Its also not worth making your pet so fierce that you might end up getting attacked someday. Just enjoy your dog mate!

first of all you do not train to attact, you can train to guard and protect. You need to take classes. schutzhund (sp?). But, these dogs are naturally protective and do not need training in that area. But all dogs should be obedience trained - especially large dogs, you can find classes just about anywhere, through your vet, humane society, favorite pet store, newspaper -- Please do not get your dog trained to be mean, there are people out there who willl do that, just give your dog lots of love and obedience training and you will be fine

I honestly don't think you need an "attack" dog in Holland :))
This isn't the right place to ask this question anyway.

General dogs will be protective of their family.

You might want to research Shcutzhund training once you've gotten through obedience. I don't know how old they should be to begin this type of training, but this sounds like what you might be looking for.

That is not something best left to the unexperienced. Google your zip code to find a trainer, look for one who trains police dogs.

You don't need to train your dog to attack. By instinct, they will defend and protect their owners and their property naturally, if they feel there is a threat!

PetSmart has training classes.

I think some dogs are naturals at attack and guarding their yards and families.
