Allah, in Arabic.
Elohim, in Hebrew.
Elai, in Armaic.
Elahi, in Arabic, Aramaic, and in Hebrew as well.
Arabic, Aramaic, and Hebew are sister languages, and now a days only Arabic is active language in use foe masses, all over the world.
God is translation and there is one more prblem callin God, is that for God it can be changed as Godess, and can be pluralised as Gods.
While The names specially Allah is unique for Almighty, and only reflect uniqueness for Almighty. Can not be pluralised, and gender switching is also not possible, as Allah is free from any gender indication. We use He for God just to show His power not for gender.

And Moses asked Him, "Lord who shall I say hath sent me?"
And the Lord answered, "I AM THAT I AM. You shall say that I AM hath sent thee."
I AM becomes in Hebrew YHWH (known to medievals as the Tetragrammaton) and to us variously as Yahweh, Yehovah, Jehovah. Since Hebrew didn't bother write down any vowels, we really don't have a clue how His Name is to be pronounced.
Personally I call Him as Jesus did, ABBA, which is Aramaic for Daddy, but technically that, like God, Allah, Elohi, El, Adonai, etc. is a title, not a name.
Hope this helped.

Each and every name of our God in the Bible, describes a certain characteristic of Him. Yes, names mean something. In this dispensation He comes to us as Jesus Christ. Every name or characteristic of Him is wrapped up in Jesus Christ, which means annointed Savior. It is through Him that we get our salvation and no other.
Allah isn't in the Bible. Allah is the name of the pagan god of the moon and stars.
