Joshua, the English form of the Hebrew name of Jesus. Its actually an interesting note. Joshua, in Jewish culture, was a military leader who succeeded Moses. It would be much like a person named Napoleon or Hitler today. People would think of them as militaristic, and as such Jesus was perceived as a threat just by his very name. Also symbolically Joshua succeeded Moses, and Christ in the same way succeeds Moses.
But okay, if you wish. Isaiah 9:6. "He will be called wonderful counselor, mighty God"

Isaiah 9:6 For to us a child is born. To us a son is given; and the government will be on his shoulders. His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Shalom.
Psalms 45:6 Your throne, God, is forever and ever. A scepter of equity is the scepter of your kingdom. 7 You have loved righteousness, and hated wickedness. Therefore God, your God, has anointed you with the oil of gladness above your fellows.
Isaiah 7:14 Therefore the Lord himself will give you a sign. Behold, the virgin will conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanu'el.

i'm assuming you mean Yeshua Ha Maschiach (or Joshua, or Y'shwa, or Yahshuah, or Iesus, or Isa, or Jesu, or... *gasp* Jesus, or whatever other translations there are). yes i can prove He is divine without the new testament. you can do so with just about every book in the tanach, starting with the chumash. ; )
Shalom Al L'Chaim.

You mean Jesus. That's like asking can you prove WW2 happened without making any references to history. Or trying to prove the laws of physics without making any reference to science. Or trying to prove Julius Caesar existed without making any reference to what was written of him.
Duh!??

In the NT, Jesus' Greek name was used, not the Hebrew equivalent.

Even new testament does not mention abour divinity. Only writing of saint Paul are telling something about this. He was an enemy of Jesus during his life on this earth.
