you are bulimic, but instead of binge eating before it... you don't eat anything... like being anorexic and making yourself throw up at the same time...?

i think it's called anorexic bulimic...??

Yes, you can vascillate between the two eating disorders.

People with anorexia and bulimia share the same persistent over-concern with body shape and weight. However, individuals with anorexia or bulimia differ from each in both their eating behavior and weight status. Those with bulimia tend to be able to maintain a nearly normal weight and indulge in binging (episodes of eating large amounts of food) and purging (getting rid of the food by vomiting, using laxatives or even excessive exercise).


Although people with anorexia can also exhibit binge/purge behavior, they routinely severely limit their food intake, resulting in a very low body weight (less than 85% normal weight for height

Well... you could theoretically have both, i guess.... but it would probably be more of a cycle between the two, because if you think about it... you can't really make yourself throw up if you haven't eaten anything. ;) Nothing would come up, so what would be the point?

Don't think I'm being insensitive or anything, this is just the logical answer, but then again, there's nothing logical about eating disorders.
