I checked the "GUY RULE BOOK", you have the right to break it off with him, that's a pretty "Lame" thing that he said to you.

People make different priorities in their lives and for him apparently having a serious relationship isn't one of them at this time. At least he is being honest. If you like him enough to stay and just play that's fine but if you want something more serious I guess you would have to move on.

One year and a half and does not want to get serious whatever his job, I do not think he is worth the time. Start dating other people and see if he changes his tune if he does not drop him.

well if his not taking it serious after 1 and a half yrs i think you should just move on his waisting yr time darl he just wants to play the game i think thats why a guy works to secure his future with his women, and if his not doing it for her than maybe his just looking for other women? sorry but he should be more commited after all 1 and a half yrs together should mean something

Yea unless you don't suspect anything fishy is going on, you should believe him. There's a lot of guys that don't say anything, get married when they don't want to, and then it all goes to hell shortly after.

You should be fine. Give him some time, he'll commit. We always commit if you tell us enough. :)
