Low is a better thing than high, obviously as your talking about carbon monoxide in your blood. But I guess with low, you also have a hard time with oxygen so you end up tired and your stroke risks are elevated. My guess is that your iron intake would be increased, that you would be put on medication to raise the number of blood cells and with that the hemoglobin, and then put on a blood thinner or more probably a maintenance dose of aspirin (81 mg).

Carboxyhemoglobin reflects exposure to carbon monoxide. There is continuous exposure to carbon monoxide including endogenous sources that establishes a baseline. Low values might alert you to an error in the assay, but should not flag. It you need to increase the carboxyhemoglobin, have the patient smoke a cigarette.
