I'm looking for places to go at mount shasta?

A little bit out of town from Mt. Shasta is Lake Siskiyou, which is fun for hanging out on the lake or renting a kayak. There's also Castle Lake, which last time I went (years ago) was a really peaceful and beautiful place to hang out. Mt. Shasta (the town) is fun, with lots of little shops and places you can just walk around and window shop.

shasta caverns is a great tour if you can walk and climb a lot of stairs abuot 9 miles north of redding

They have a nice lake with house boats.
