I think you are totally prejudiced. You say that we "all" know English is the International Language. Seen from the numbers the people speaking Mandarin (spoken in China and Taiwan) exceeds by far the number of those speaking English. If you had a look at Mandarin you would realize that it is so different from the grammar and pronunciation from English that it is close to a miracle that a Chinese could learn to speak English. If you look here at some questions supposedly asked by native speakers of English you could also direct your question to some of your countrymen. I find much more bothersome that native English speaking people do not try to properly learn their own language than foreigners trying and not succeeding. Inevitably, your experience with teachers in Taiwan is a limited one. To draw from the few cases you know a general conclusion on the state of English teaching in Taiwan is totally wrong. Moreover, it would be very convenient for native English speaking people if all the world would speak their language and they wouldn't bother to learn foreign languages, not that they bother too much right now. You say Taiwan is "the worst country". Of how many visited? If it is such a shame why don't you learn Mandarin and go and teach better English in Taiwan? I hear it is well paid. LOL I am not Chinese and I learned both English and Mandarin as foreign languages so I am not biased towards any of these. No offense, what I want to say is you have to keep an open mind and not jump to conclusions however appealing they might seem.

You obviously have no idea how people from every country in the world speak English. Your exaggeration is not based on fact, and is wrong. You might reconsider, and you will realize that English is not their native language. If you are so upset with them, do you speak better Chinese than they speak English? If not, shut up. If so, you certainly should understand their situation much better.
