I nearly threw up when I read this googel three squeals for yourself.
if rats feel pain wouldn't babies? we use rats in science labs so they would be a perfect subsitute.
My guidebook claims that live rat embryos are a delicacy in Southern China. The dish is called Three Squeals "since the embryo squeals once when you pick it up with your chopsticks, once again when you dip it in soya sauce, and finally when you put it in your mouth..." (From China: a Travel Survival Kit, Lonely Planet, 1976)

With every day pass, our country is getting into more and more trouble. The inflation, unemployment and falling value of dollar are the main concern for our Government but authorities are just sleeping, they don’t want to face the fact. Media is also involve in it, they are force to stop showing the real economic situation to the people. I start getting more concern about my future as well as my family after watching the response of our Government for the people that affected by hurricane Katrina.
According to recent studies made by World Bank, the coming crisis will be far worse than initially predicted. So if you're already preparing for the crisis (or haven't started yet) make sure you watch this video at http://www.familysurvival.tv and discover the 4 BIG issues you'll have to deal with when the crisis hits, and how to solve them fast (before the disaster strikes your town!) without spending $1,000s on overrated items and useless survival books.

You state rat embryos but you do not say at what stage of development these embryos are. And keep in mind that they would be called embryos from almost the beginning of development until right before birth. 99% of abortions take place prior to the 12th week of development. Can you prove that human embryos experience pain up to that 12 week period? I think you'll find that very little of the nervous system has developed at that stage so the possibility that any pain is felt is minimal.

In order for a squeal to occur lung development has to have occurred which puts the rats gestation at roughly 15-18 days of it's 21 day gestation..
Comparing that to a human gestation that would be day 195 of 266.. (aproximately 6.5 months)...
No one disputed that a human fetus feels pain by 6.5 months gestation..
As the current law places the limit on getting an abortion at 12 weeks (2.75 months) gestation...
Find a study or delicacy that proves a rat embryo feels pain at 6.3 days gestation and I will be inclined to believe that a human embryo feels pain at or before week 12 gestation...
What you are comparing is apples and oranges, due to the descrepancy in gestational periods involved..

what do you think a baby cow does when they kill it--or a lamb or any animal--everything feels pain when you kill it or stab it-maby a little embryo does too--there is a reaction--but its small compared to a fully developed animal or baby!
A tree can also feel getting cut down but its consciousness is much lower than an animal which runs away from you!
So I hope you are vegetarian---by the way -an embyro like the kind they use in stem cell is too small for the human eye to see! Im not sure you are calling it the right thing

Do you mean Pinkies
My dear not even the Chinese would bother trying to separate out a rat embryo. I am also very surprised at the idea of a Chinese meal with raw animal food. I have never seen that.
Japanese eat raw seafood, sure, but that is not the same thing.

jesus have you ever heard of an urban legend? As someone else said, a travel book is no where to get your science from. these rats would have been born or at least very close to born. As long as abortions are done before the nervous system is formed, no nervous system, no pain.

Yes.
They would not be embryos, but rather fetuses. Further, they must be near gestation, since the lungs would not inflate allowing them to squeal otherwise. Avoid taking science from travel guides.

well, first off the human and rats ones are much different. And if they squeal that means they have lungs, human fetuses dont. Also, if human fetuses did that, they would "squeal" when they abort. So...no, you didn't prove anything.

i don't know that recipe??? you're describing there, it looks so sick...yes babies can feel pain, is hard to live knowing that there are some very vicious not responsible people that practice abortions, i´ve watched abortion videos and talked with doctors and they say and I watched how the baby try to hold on to the walls, pushing back as much as they can and you see how they open their mouth, what a desperation! God bless their souls!
