No, it did not cost $8 million dollars. I doubt it cost more than a few hundred for the actual execution. The trial and everything BEFORE is where the money went. Consider your own life, on a day to day basis. You have bills to pay. Well the courts have bills to pay too, you know?. They have a water bill, heating costs and all the other stuff, plus they have people to pay, the lawyers, the cops and investigators, the court personnel, correctional officer salary, you name it. When they come up with a number like this, it is for everything, all the people, the material support, everything up to and including the final disposal of the remains. The actual execution is trivial compared to everything else where money was spent during the course of events. The thing is, a lot of this money would have been paid out regardless since it was not specific to just Ted Bundy. All of the prison infrastructure upkeep for example gets paid out whether there are no prisoners in the jail or it is crammed to the rafters. The public sector lawyers would have been paid regardless of who they prosecuted or defended. If the accused pays his own lawyer, that is not included in the cost quoted since the court system did not pay that particular cost. If you compare execution to life without parole, the cost benefit goes to capital punishment as the costs stop once the remains are disposed of, but life with parole is the gift which keeps on giving, up until the accused kicks the bucket on his own. I, for one, am against capital punishment. There have been too many wrongfully convicted and sentenced to death who have had the conviction reversed later for me to believe the system makes no errors. After an execution, there is no do-over if later evidence is uncovered which reverses that conviction. So, OK, it costs more to go with life without parole, but I feel better knowing I can undo a wrongful conviction.

KIDS, wake up!!! Look at the multi-million dollar Ken Starr report. Just how much money should be spent to find out if Monica & Mrs. Clinton used the same dildo? Take a Polaroid and see the tobacco stains on her lips!!!! It would cost a real working person about $20 for cam and film.... Another example of an overpaid legal representative. What was the rate per hour? If ever there were a case of a salary needing to be capped this is it!!!!!!

The planet it particularly is on the western tip of your brim will strengthen in potential and characteristic a relevance to you a technique or the different on your existence; this planet has greater potential than frequently linked with it. Ie in case you place your finger into the decrease empty area and circulate it anticlockwise, the 1st planet you come to is the lead planet on your chart.

I actually agree 99% with everything Rowlfe said. However, considering that the execution took place in the state of(Florida) that doesnt know how to VOTE, they most likely cant add either! NYUK NYUK NYUK I do believe in the death penalty! (It costs somewhere around $300,000 a year to house feed and clothe one convict!)

It went into court costs from the trial and subsequent appeals. Also, they take into account how much it cost to house and feed him in prison until they executed him.
