It is ok to uninstall old version but u need not as firefox updates itself when u use interrnet.

yea it is ok, but you shouldn't have to, firefox has an auto-update feature that, unless you got rid of, should keep it up to date. also firefox is pretty much the best browser there is ;) so i'm sure why you would want to uninstall it.

instead of uninstalling you can update your firefox... still you have problem you can try opera
