religions has more a habit of breaking things than curing them.... we hear about people speaking in tongues.... that's a mental illness... someone should do a survey to see how many of these turn schizophrenic.... We have also seen on TV these people on the floor squirming about ...that is an epileptic seizure..... religions are scary business..

Yes, doubt. Say you pick a religion and you have studied it and then experienced it. Many others who believe the same religion agree with the truths that you have found within the religion. Eventually, two or three gather to do some work or take some action in the name of this religion to do good like rid the world of disease or illness. The believers do not have the strength, skill, knowledge, patience, foresight or financial backing that they would like, but their God can provide this. Bingo, you have people cropping up like Mother Teresa or Doctor Farmer. Sometimes you may even see the likes of a Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. who all, no doubt, had no doubt as to who was helping them all. Their religious convictions got them all going and their religious faithful supported them.

There's a big difference between religion & going through riturals and Almighty God. Religion/being religious can't cure anything, only God can. There's alot of "relgious" people going around saying they can cure you, like faith healers, that are giving God a bad reputatuion.

Religion is different than God--
OK -having cleared up that idea
Does God cure anything--Yes he can cure everything-He is like the sun- He shines everywhere--but most of us hide in the shade under rocks etc. So it depends on us a lot on us!

is not an specific religion, is the faith you've got in God, even in yourself being well, that's our Lord's grandness... the Bible says: where two or more are together in my name, I´ll be there (i don't know the exact words it is arranged in english) it doesn't mean if your alone, God wouldn't be with you, just when you get yourself people praying and having hope in the same cause, your prayer would have more strenght, always surround yourself with good, believing people, that's excellent to bring family together, and yes there are several studies that faith cures people!

I do believe God can cure illnesses, but I also believe God gave man the intelligence to make medical breakthroughs, Medicines, operations, i.e. He also gave mankind common sense to go to the Dr. when you're sick.

Apparently God can only cure those conditions that could cure themselves or be cured by modern medicine. Ask any amputee.

No. There is only one cure and it's not religion. He is a person. Jesus Christ.
