If russia can prove there claims that part of the arctic then it is there's.
IN any case i'd rather russia have the arctic over canada having it because if canada has it then its no different from USA having ownership.

We aren't taking on russia for the arctic, the rule of law ( the treaty of the seas ) will decide who has jurisdiction over what. Russia is just trying to get international attention now that their oil and Natural gas reserves have giving them extra muscle the last few years.

Just heard on the news that the film of the Arctic flag planting was faked!! LOL
Turns out some 13 yr old kid realized that a lot of the film was taken from the movie "Titanic".
