To get your lip pierced if your with your parent?
And.. is there anything required when getting it done?

I think it depends where you are located. I know in California you have to be 16 with a parent present, or 18 to get it done on your own. Check with a local piercing place in your area to find out about the laws where you are. Usually you need just an ID that shows your birthdate.

That depends on where you go and where you live. In the state of CT you can get piercings and tattoos at 16 if you have a parents with you and that parent signs a consent form. Some shops won't do it at all until your 18 and in some states it's illegal to get it until your 18.
When I got my first tattoo and first piercing at 16 I had to have ID, a parent, and payment. That's pretty much it. For a lip piercing you'll have to gargle mouth wash to disinfect your mouth and lessen the chance of infection but if you go to a reputable place they will have mouth wash there and have you gargle just before you get pierced.

Don't get your lip pierced! Even a lot of fast food places won't hire you if you have facial piercings. I work for a Mc Donald's and a girl was told if she really wanted the job she had to remove her 3 facial piercings. They are NOT attractive. Most states you have to be at least 18.

It probably varies state to state.
Make sure you do your homework and look for a reliable place to get it done. Ask around and see where other people have gone and what their experiences were. Make sure the place has a good reputation.

I've walked out of food establishments because of people with piercings. They are disgusting and a health hazard.

why should you get pierced it makes you look unresponsible in future you may not like it and it may affect you if done wrongly, but you have to be independent working and taking care of your self before thinking of piercing.

Why would you want to in the first place? It will distort your look forever.
