i have this co-worker, we're good friends at work but dont see each other outside work., anyway, i think she likes me, she'll blurt out something provocative sometimes towards me. she'll call me hott once in awhile, she describes her perfect man identical to MY personality. its scary because i dont see her like that but i dont want to hurt her feelings. i hold everyones respect at work so i dont wanna screw that up by being an asshole just to accomplish this little task, any ideas?

since u do not like her, then do not go on lunch alone with her, stay away from her so that she doesn't has the chance to get near you, minimise conversations with her too

I suggest you be honest to her rather than keeping her hopes up because it'll look as if you're leading her on in a way by no being upfront about it. Trust me, not be interested in someone and being sincere about it does not make you an asshole.

Just talk to her and tell her that you like her, but only as a friend. Tell her you are focusing on your career at this stage in your life, and that youre not looking for a relationship. then secretly go to a hott club at night and chase girls

Hitch™ says:
Be honest and straight forward with her. If she's not crazy, she'll understand. If your reputation at work is solid now, it will be solid after you talk to her about it either way. Good luck!

Just don't take it there, when she makes those comments shrug them off or change the subject. Have a conversation with her about your dating life, ask her opinion on some girl your seeing. "Your such a good friend, maybe you can help me with this girl I'm seeing..."

you stand with your principles and dont let her get you to do anything that you will regret later...just dont entertain her much and dont show lack of interest to your friendship just draw a line with how you act around her..she is a b**** and if you get too close or allow contact out of work she will mess your reputation at work..

Explain to her that you're extremely flattered, but you'd prefer not to date people from work. Be sensitive about it.

Good Luck.
