I've been with my boyfriend about 6 mos. He knows when my birthday is, which is this coming weekend. But he's taking his vacation on the day of my birthday for a week with his mom to mexico. He had told me what he was going to do weeks back. But now he hasn't mentioned anything about my birthday at all.
What should I do? Am I being selfish? My birthday is months before his too. Should I be mad if he doesn't do anything with me, but just say Happy Birthday?

Why don't you plan something for you b-day and invite all your friends and him, maybe early so he can still go? Guys are sometimes not too bright about remembering these things, not becasue they don't care but becasue their brains don't function like ours do.

well if he already had these plans, then i dont think you can make a big deal of it. Im sure he cares about your birthday but i mean you cant just cancel vacations like that. those cost a lotta money these days. It dont have to be a special day to do somthing special :)
