I ordered spicy wings, and they had a hotness level of 1-10. I got a level 5, which was VERY VERY hot. What will happen if I order a number 10? Will it burn my toungue and destory my taste buds?

it possibly could.. that's happeend to me and it wasn't worth it because my tongue was numb for some time. Sometimes I'll order the hottest wings at buffalo wild wings (Blazin), and have to eat them with gloves on since I don't want to touch them.

but to answer your question, it's too hot when you are in pain and there is no flavor in the food. Some hot sauces just give you pain with no flavor, which could be fun for some people, but not me. If it's super hot with lots of flavor, it would be worth the pain cuz i could just drink milk or eat yogurt and it would go away.

do you know how to get rid of the hotness?

Mo' hotta, mo' betta. I eat habeneros all the time and like it really hot. No permanent harm will come to you. But it may be painfull. I have developed a tolerance and like it really hot.
