I had to have these sandals! They were a little big and my feet would slide. Now I have thick skin on the bottoms of some areas of my feet. I have used the oil of olay warming pedicure, lotions and creams. My feet get soft, but the thick skin remains People can't see it but it is uncomfortable and I know it is there.

You can buy files from the chemist and over a sheet of newspaper file the hard skin away .Soak your feet in a rad ox or even Epsom salts or crystals and then massage into them when dry some vitamin E cream . Buy a pumice stone and when you shower use this on your feet daily to combat the build up so the problem does not occur again .

I'd buy sandals that fit next time. Go get a pedicure, let someone else scrub your feet, and then throw the sandals away! Why do people wear uncomfortable things? I love my danner and justin boots!

A foot file.... They work really good... I wear work boots 5 days a week for my job so I do my feet at least 3 times a week... They are only 2 dollars each... After using the file use a good lotion and plenty of it and just put socks on.....

You'll need to use a callus remover--one of those little paddle things with the holes in it (looks like a little cheese grater). Not the most pleasant task, but painless as long as you only scrape the CALLUSED part of your skin, and then apply some nice lotion. Your feet will feel much more comfy.

i know its gross, but i have the same problem. i'm very athletic and my tennis shoes always give me thick skin when i run in them alot. i soak my feet, then rub some foot cream on them, and then soak them again, and then use a fingernail clipper to cut some of the skin off and then i put more foot cream on them right before bed (your skin always heals faster while you sleep). it usually takes care of them in about 3 days.
