www.openoffice.org

Almost as good as MS office but 100% free. It can open and save spreadsheets in exel format.

Almost 100MB download.

OpenOffice is not 100% compatible with MS Office. Some things will not transfer between the different programs.

OpOf is a good program. MS Office is better and a lot more expensive.

Hi,
Checkout the bargain finder or equivalent type simile, (what ever you have in your area)
People sell unopened software,(people buy it then never use it)
I bought Office pro 2003 for $50. and Visio pro for $10.00
That would be a good way to cheap out,
if you want to be compatible with the majority then just search for bargains.
