They are trying to scare you. The police have to get involved and file a report, then the phone company will put what is called a "trap and trace" on their phone line to determine where the calls are coming from. If they are coming from your house you can be arrested and prosecuted for making threatening and harassing telephone calls.
If you are not making the calls, you don't need to do anything but laugh at them, if you ARE making the calls, you better quit or call a lawyer

I suggest this reverse phone lookup service: http://reversephone.toptips.org
It's a cheap service that works great!
It could be used for a much deeper search. You can use it to get hold of different varieties of background reports, and in addition cell numbers, addresses and names..
you can get unlimited reports... I ran with this because I required to verify more numbers. You can get the name, other phone number, address history, relatives, and much more about anyone!
The completly free reverse phone lookup generally doesn't provide anything interesting. To get interesting information, money will must be paid. The free searches don't provide considerably more than what may be found through the phone directory.
The reverse phone detective search tool does work, but you should use just the service that I posted above. The last thing you want to do, is pay for a service and find the numbers you want to lookup are not available in their directory.
The service that I reccomend doesn't have any kind of problem , you won't get any bad surprise!

It may depend on your state. In my state this might well fall under the statute concerning annoying and harassing phone calls (we don't have a criminal "sexual harassment" statute for this sort of thing - it's perfectly lawful to ask in most cases). However, proving who the suspect is would probably not happen as it came from the dealership. But, a few choice words to the management there by the police might very well prevent it from happening again ... most businesses don't want the negative publicity. - Carl

They have to trace the call to your phone to prove it is coming from your phone and then they have to prove it was you dialing the phone. Not much of a chance they'll be able to prove it was you. They are just trying to intimidate you. I had someone calling me up to 30 times a day and it took me 2 months to prove it was them actually dialing the phone and doing the calls and threats.

If they investigate they will trace the calls, (easy for a cop to do), and find out it isn't you.
If they keep bothering you about it, just tell them
"It isn't me, trace the (bad word of your choice), call and find out".

If enough probable cause is found then you can be arrested. If not, then you can't and won't be arrested.
