It would depend on how little is your "little".
Chloroform is rapidly absorbed through mucous membranes and possibly can cause acute poisoning.

In the past, traces of Chloroform added in cough syrups.Some water, food and some oral drugs may contain minute amounts of chloroform. Very little amount will unlikely to cause poisoning but is may result to some irritation of the liver and kidney and may produce mild effects to central nervous system.
