I want to get a small star on the inside of my right wrist, like an inch, inch & 1/2 (outline or filled in - I haven't decided yet, black/grey no color). Someone told me that it'll stretch out into a blob is that true?

And is it true that white tattoos turn yellow? (thats another alternative I'm considering instead of the black).

Thanksss

I don't believe they stretch. Unless you gain about 500 pounds. I know people who have them in that location and I haven't seen any problem with theirs.

I have white in some of my tats and it has never turned yellow. I have had tats with yellow and orange and they have faded over the last 15 years, but I've never had a problem with white.

if you get it really really small, it will eventually turn into a little blob, but the size that your getting i'm sure it'll be just fine.
and if your thinking about color, i think it would be really cute if you got it outlined in black, and then colored the inside of it what your favorite color is. but which ever you decide i'm sure it'll look good :)
oh, and yes, all white tattoos DO turn yellow after a while. when i got my tattoo done, i asked this question, and thats what they told me. and she also said that usually the only time good tattoo artists will use white, is when they're highlighting the features in a tattoo. so i acutally wouldn't recomend getting it done in white. stick to either black/grey or the color. it'll look more classy.

good luck on getting your new tattoo! :)

I have had a white (black outline) star tat on my wrist for 8 years and it still looks the same...You should be safe as long as you go to a good place! =)

nah it should streach or blob if you look after it right, make sure u protect it from the sun tho.

i have a black and grey tattoo on my wrist and it does look quite dark, as for the white ink.. i personaly think thats only good for highlighting!!

where ever you go make sure they use quaility ink, cos it will help the tatoo hold its coulor for longer

wrist tattoos look awsome :D

wrist tattoos will fade, but as long as the detail isn't too fine, they'll look alright...

White tattoos can turn yellow... it does happen... go to an artist with good healed white tattoo photos... because even a stencil can make a white tattoo not white.....

what is it w/ stars? Did paris hilton get one last month or something? I have my wrists done, its been 7 years, no blob, but its not small or solid . . . As for white tattoos, whats the point? (unless you have a dark complexion, i didnt look at your pic) All tattoos fade no matter what color.

My friend had a yellow star tat and within the first year it completely faded away, it didn't turn white.

Also don't get a visible tat b/c it prevents you from getting jobs in the future...
