In order to make a kitten of that age deficate or urinate, you need to stimulate the perianal area and the genital area... Just as mom would. Get a wash cloth, wet it with warm water, and rub! You will need to do this every two or three hours (preferrably just after you bottle feed) until he goes on his own at about 4 or 5 weeks of age. Then you will need to litter train.

you probably wont notice it but the mamma cat cleans the kittens for over a month and takes care of that part too. Its gross I know but you dont have to worry about it for awhile.

If his mother isn't around then you'll have to stimulate him yourself. It sounds really nasty, but really isn't so bad.
Take a wash cloth, moisten it with warm water and wipe his butt. You're trying to simulate the mothers tongue. That stimulates the baby to urinate and have bowel movements. When he's done, be sure to clean him well.

well well... the mother know when this is happening.. so she cleans up the waste before it makes a mess.. maybe you should worry about the kittens, let the mother do her job.
